Free-diving is a new favourite activity among ocean lovers. Holding your breath underwater might sound like a difficult challenge, but what it really requires is relaxation and self-awareness of your body as a whole. With this special free-diving academy, led by our on-site Adventure Team right in our own bay, you’ll gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to experience the underwater world in a personal and respectful way. We can also arrange courses and certifications at our Four Seasons beach and pools, welcoming everyone from beginners to experts.

MEET THE BABY WHALES AT MAGDALENA BAY

Enjoy a front-row seat to whale season directly at the Resort or connect with nature in unexpected ways on this guided expedition to Magdalena Bay, a biodiversity hot spot with Baja’s largest mangrove forest. Fly by helicopter, then board a luxury yacht to explore this wetland habitat, home to more than 80 species of birds and 4 endangered species of sea turtles. From January to mid March, a large population of Pacific grey whales travels here from Alaska to give birth in the warmer waters. In spring, it’s often possible to spot baby whales frolicking alongside their parents.
